In order for our program to succeed, we rely on individuals who are willing to share their story with other communities.
There is very minimal upfront commitment. All we ask is that you send your name, a photo, your job title and company, location(s) you are willing to speak at, and interests. Once you are accepted as a speaker there is no other commitment until we match you with an organization or an event that needs a speaker.
Because we are working to provide a benefit to these organizations and the people that they serve, our hope is to provide this service free of cost. At times, this may result in local transportations costs passed onto our organization or to our speakers. We will, however, work with you to minimize if not eliminate any costs to you.
While we know that most individuals who sign up with our program are here to provide a benefit to others, we also believe that this program can and will enrich each of our volunteers. You will grow in your speaking acumen, receive feedback from your audiences, add to your resume, and potentially launch your own speaking profession which can command a fee outside of our organization.
